Men's Ministry
The men of GLF get together in fellowship, discipleship, and encouragement through various events.
We hold an annual weekend men’s retreat. The next retreat is scheduled for Spring 2010.
We hold an annual father-son campout, complete with shooting lessons, fishing, and pig roasting.
The Deacons of GLF are servants of proper moral and spiritual character, who relieve the elders from burdensome tasks that are essential to the church’s welfare. They are designated to meet the physical needs of the ongoing ministry, but with a clear understanding and application of the principles of the New Covenant, serving and ministering from the life of Christ within, not under compulsion, but willingly serving as “unto Christ."
