Missions

Grace Life Fellowship currently supports 14 missionaries or mission outreach endeavors. Funding for our missionaries is provided through our general giving. We have a missions board made up of at-large servants from the body. In addition to prayerfully considering which missions to support, they are each assigned “missionary buddies,” with whom they keep in close contact. Following is a list of the missions GLF supports and their contact information. You are encouraged to communicate with them via email to learn more about their endeavors and to learn how to pray for them.

Mark writes, “For years I have taught pastors, churches and individuals that the complete Gospel of grace when heard and understood meets the deepest needs of the human heart regardless of the culture.”  One person remarked that “he had more to share than ever before.”  That meant “1) We can daily rely on Christ in us to love and live through us; 2) We have great significance because of our identity in Christ; 3) We are under grace instead of law or any religious ‘law system’; we not only have a lot to share, but an exciting new way to live our lives each day producing the fruit of loving God appropriately, loving ourselves Biblically, and other people boldly.”

“Praise Works wants to thank you for supporting this book ministry.  The strength of these little books is that they include the message of Jesus as our Savior AND Jesus as our life.  Your donations helped us distribute 35,029 books free of charge during the 2011 calendar year” – US, Mexico, Uganda, Peru, Honduras, Chile, Argentina, Puerto Rico and Guatemala.  $13,500 was provided by Praise Works to print 54,000 copies of the books in 6 different languages in India.

Many testimonies are received of how children put their faith in Jesus Christ. Phil Chain says, “These books are one of the greatest evangelistic tools we have ever used.”

Praise Works endeavors to use 90% of donated funds to print and distribute these books (“The Jesus Story” and “Jesus In Me”).  Plans for 2012 include books in Creole for Haiti and more in the languages of India (there are more children 14 and under in India than all the people in the USA!  God recently blessed us by sending a Web Site Developer to completely update the website.

INTERNATIONAL

ELIETE COGO / Exchanged Life Counseling - Brazil

Email:  elietebr@hotmail.com

Website:  www.gracelifeministryinbrazil.blogspot.com

Due to payroll cutback, Eliete lost her employment with CERVIN.  They are behind on bill-payment and no longer have internet access.  Her studies at Bible College have also stopped.  She hopes to begin work in counseling persons who desire to exit from homosexuality – helping them understand God’s provision of grace in Christ Jesus.  She would also like to follow up on those counseled through CERVIN.

TIM EKNO / American Education Development Inc. - India & Vietnam

Email:  timekno@americaned.net

Website:  www.worldedge.net

Tim and Vanessa are so thankful for the support they have had through the years.  This year they were able to bless seven leprosy camps with food and/or clothing.  The Lord continues touching hearts among the lepers and the Bidar church with many professions of faith and many following through by being baptized – including a 90 year old woman who had been a Hindu her whole life.  The children in the two orphanages are “precious” and are privileged to be educated instead of being rejected as "leper kids."PHIL & MARIANNE CHAIN / Mexico Missions - Mexico

Email:  pchain@mexicomission.org

Website:  www.mexicomissions.org

They recently made the two crossings into Mexico without problem and are thankful for our prayers.  There is an extensive backpack ministry scheduled during the Christmas season in which a large group of native helpers along with some folks who are flying in will participate. He asks for prayer, not only for the outreach, but also that the experience will be life-changing for the Mexican youth working in this ministry.

Vlado's Extended Ministry - Family Story

Vlado's Ministry Presentation Program

Vlado’s recent report simply expressed his praise to the Lord for how He has worked wonders in his life, changing him from a depressed and frustrated man who didn’t like children to a man who rejoices in the many children whom he and his wife are bringing up as foster children.  The children not only are a blessing, but are also learning to participate in the many ministries our Father has led Vlado into.
