Jesus, though fully God, willingly took on humanity and laid aside His divine privileges, revealing that true humility flows from security and dependence rather than striving, grasping, or self-deprecation. Because believers have received a new identity and the very life of Christ, we can stop trying to prove our worth, humble ourselves in the confidence of whose we are, and trust our Father whose heart is to care for us and lift us up.
